There were
two silent disqualifications during yesterday finished World Championship online 10-18.
A RSA girl in the section under 12 beat strong Russian girl in 1/8 and went into ¼ but the next day without any official announcements Russian girl played ¼ You can watch games

the most “spectacular” story was at U18 section. A player from Peru with FIDE classic rating 2117 won American zone qualification
https://chess-results.com/tnr539211.aspx?lan=11&art=4In 1/8 he beat GM Kirill Shevchenko 1,5-0.5 (look games at my first link especially 38.g4 in the second game). In ¼ he beat Italian IM Sonis 2483 2-0 and was preparing to play his ½. Before ½ FM Андрей Пунин (Andrey Punin) announced the analysis of cheating and FIDE “suddenly” understood “something” about “killer” from Peru. He was disqualified same silently as RSA girl. The schedule was changed and Shevchenko replayed ¼ with Sonis (Sonis won).
Sutovsky explained at GM Galkin's page that FIDE is “nice”. Control “justice”. Very funny. But he did not explain what about justice for the player who terminated first after qualifiers in the American zone. Who did think about defending his justice. And definitely no sanctions will be done to disqualified players. We all remember Sutovsky's misspeak about necessity to avoid public cheaters scandals to pretend for “sponsorship”. As if there is any except Russian money.

Evgeniy Solozhenkin Alright, that's indeed very serious. I wasn't aware of that, because, as you say, no official statement was released.
The fact that these cases are diminished or even kept silent is problematic. Frankly speaking, I don't like this.
А что тут такого? Что ж, всё это афишировать?
